It is obvious that their work does not follow the pure avant-garde approach of blurring boundaries between life and art, but that life just soaked into their art. Somehow the definition of avant-garde failed to divide between those who were forced to use poor material and blend their lives into art and those who could play with this connection. What could you call that? s.a.b.a. don't even play with the connection. It simply permeates
their work, and we can read between the lines, without
unveiling their private lives.
